5 reasons that the benefits that flow from guns far outweigh the risks inherent in guns

guns American revolutionaries

BookwormRoom: With the shooting at Umpqua Community College having reanimated the Progressives’ demands that we withdraw guns from citizens’ hands and leave them solely in the hands of government operatives (a strange demand from the BLM-supporting crowd if you think about it), it’s time for me to rehash my five-point argument explaining why, the risks of guns notwithstanding, we are much safer with guns than without them.

I originally published this post in June 2014 and have made only a few changes to enhance clarity:I. INTRODUCTION

God forgive me, but I used to be so anti-gun that I donated to The Brady Campaign To Prevent Gun Violence. I know. Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa. Since that time, I’ve done a complete 180 and become a fervent gun supporter and a proud member of the NRA.  more here

  1. So Brain Dead Barry is headed to Red Neck bills Oregon on Friday. The Chief of Police has issued a statement that they don’t want him there. Family members of the murdered are saying the same thing. WTF? I’m wondering if he plans on hearing the entire town in at gun point? President Obama, these aren’t your people. They are Americans asshole.

  2. The progs look to take any situation and make it worse. If they bitch and moan about anything, you can bet they have plans to make that thing become an even bigger problem.
Only the worst kind of idiot would try to put out a fire using gasoline. All of their gun-grabbing plans would leave the criminals armed and the law-abiding defenseless against them.

This gun owner will be armed until death. And I promise I will never shoot anybody who doesn’t deserve to be shot.

  3. Great link! Added to bookmarks. Not only does this guy know how to deal with libs, he knows how to deal with the muzz:

“Israel knows that fighting back inevitably means her citizens will die in combat. But 1,813 years of history proves that, even when Jews don’t fight back, they die anyway, and in greater numbers than Israel has lost in any of her five major wars. Either way, Jews die. But as those who staged the Warsaw Uprising understood, it’s still better to die by the hundreds or thousands on your feet and to take the enemy with you as a warning to the next wave of Jew killers than to die on your knees by the millions.

Too big for a bumper sticker, but every American needs to apply this lesson
