When a subordinate retires, it is customary but not required to give his or her spouse a certificate of appreciation. The optional note is recognition for the sacrifices spouses of servicemen and women have to make.

When a homosexual Master Sergeant with a male “wife” retired, Col. Bohannon asked the Staff Judge Advocate and his chaplain what he should do, because of Bohannon’s Christian faith cannot endorse sodomy.

  2. The damage has been done. Even if the Air Force reverses the penalties, Bohannon’s career is over. He stepped on a land mine.

    Petty BS like this is why I never pursued a career in the military, although at one time I seriously considered it. Even had the paperwork to apply for West Point after graduating high school. But that was a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…

  5. The Air Farce has stepped beyond political correctness to become an advocate of social justice REMFs and has damaged the armed services in doing so. More gutless politically appointed air force Generals need to be told to resign.

    Secretary Mattis is the man that can get the job done. Do it.
