PatriotRetort: I’m sure you’ve heard of Ibrahim Qosi, AKA Sheikh Khubayb al Sudani, who was a guest of the US Military at Guantanamo Bay until July 2012 when the Obama Administration let him go and sent him home to Sudan.
Well, Ibrahim apparently didn’t stay in Sudan. In fact, in 2014 he joined Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula and now is a leader of the group in Yemen. This came to our attention when a video AQAP released starred none other than Qosi.
Here, Qosi referred to al Qaeda’s policy of encouraging attacks by individual adherents and smaller terror cells. Indeed, AQAP’s video celebrates jihadists who have acted in accordance with this call, such as the Kouachi brothers, who struck Charlie Hebdo’s offices in Paris earlier this year. And then there’s the news that Obama’s reckless and foolish trade of five top Taliban leaders for the deserter Bowe Bergdahl violated the law.
Those Taliban Five, up until May 2014, were also guests of the US Military at Guantanamo Bay detention center. more here
