‘No evidence of collusion’ between Trump campaign, Russia

Washington (AFP) – The chairman of a US congressional committee on intelligence said Sunday that he has seen  “no evidence” that President Donald Trump’s campaign colluded with Russia during the runup to the 2016 election.

Based on “everything I have up to this morning — no evidence of collusion,” said US Representative Devin Nunes, head of the House Intelligence Committee, speaking to the Fox News Sunday television program.

He made his remarks one day before FBI director James Comey is due to appear before his panel, facing lawmakers seeking answers about Trump’s potential Russia ties and the president’s extraordinary accusation of wiretapping by his predecessor.

And the media didn’t bat an eye. Just sayin.’

  4. This reminds me of SNL back in the 70’s. They would start the news segment by saying “Franco is still dead”.

One would think, at some point, the left will realize there is nothing there and they will move on to something else. But, alas, a generation raised on X Files the fact that there is no proof IS proof.

  5. “Putin hated Sec Clinton so much that the flipside of that coin was he had a clear preference for the person running against” FBI Dir Comey

    Odd thing to say.

  6. If I were Putin, I’d rather deal with POTUS Trump than POTUS Hilary. Who wouldn’t?

Trump is consistent, pragmatic, not crazy and does not want WW3.
With the corrupt and baggage-laden HRC, on one hand she’s already compromised, has no discipline or security, and is surrounded by incompetents who believe they are masterminds.
On the other hand HRC would be erratic, unpredictably prone to sudden 180’s for special interests, and may have serious alcohol/medication/neurological problems.

Putin preferred Trump. So did 51% of the American voters.

  7. I’m watching the Congressional circus. Just realized that Ted Kennedy hasn’t had a drink in over eight years, and I haven’t had one in over 24 hours. Time for me to get cracking.

  8. What was the impetus that led the FBI to launch an investigation way back in October of last year? What intelligence and from what source instigated the
ongoing and lengthy investigation? Wiretaps, tips from foreign sources, pressure from Obama and the Clinton Campaign, DOJ, or was it at the direction of the political leader of the FBI? Someone had to initially order or approve the surveillance of Trump! WHO?
