Target welcomes transgender customers to use any bathroom or fitting room that matches their gender identity

aol: The chain said Tuesday that it wanted to clarify its position on the issue, in light of recent debates in state legislatures across the country around the appropriateness of transgender bathrooms.

“We welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity,” the retailer said in a statement. “Everyone deserves to feel like they belong. And you’ll always be accepted, respected and welcomed at Target.”

  1. …The retailer added, “At Target our goal is to have your 9 year old daughter confronted in the women’s room by a mentally ill 50 year old man wearing high heels and lipstick. Hopefully, he’ll have his penis out.
We couldn’t care less that you’ve been a loyal customer with your normal family for years. All we care about is appeasing a tiny segment of the population that’s hell bent on destroying civilized society. Happy shopping!”

Well Targay I won’t be purchasing any clothing in your store. I really never did like your store in the first place and I haven’t shopped there in years. There’s no reason for me to do so now. Have fun with your lawsuits that will be coming your way.

  3. That’s it. I’m going to be laying the stinkyist deuces in your bathrooms, Ladies. Don’t hold it against me, you’re more than welcome to my binary gender bathroom.

  4. Tonight I’m having extra portions of beef tip, cheese potatoes, and brussels sprouts for dinner. Tomorrow morning after coffee, I’m going directly to target so I can take a wild dump in the women’s bathroom.

  5. I remember when Moochelle did a publicity stunt at Target.
She told a bullshit story that a white woman thought she worked there and “axed” her to get some detergent off the top shelf.

  6. So a real life trans man-to-woman walks into the women’s bathroom, but he doesn’t “look” like a real-to-life one, he looks like a privileged white cracker. Some lady freaks out and screams calls security. Security secures the trans and calls the cops. Cops come and potentially charge him with exactly what punishment? So when he “proves” he’s a real trans, how much can he sue the state (taxpayers) and the company for?

That said, when the man-to-woman trans has to prove the transition how is that done when he lifts his skirt and the berries are blowing in the wind?

  7. Thanks to HB2, Target has that option and has no legal consequence for choosing their own policy. Under the Charlotte law, they would be REQUIRED to do what they are doing. I prefer free choice over mandates. I am sure that somewhere in their press release Target thanked North Carolina for allowing private business to choose their own policy just like they think people should be able to choose their own gender, right?

  8. and let me say this again. Watching the coordinated response to HB2 and the MSM’s disinformation campaign, this is reminiscent of the war on birth control question from 2012.

  9. Target has been swirling the “toilet bowl” for the last decade. Kicked out Salvation Army, change “girls” and “boys” sections to some stupid gender-free thing, no guns allowed, and now men with sticks can abuse women and girls in bathrooms and changing rooms.

I let my Target credit card die several years ago and haven’t missed it since.

I think the same company that own Target also owns Macys and they have been letting men in the women’s changing room for years.

  10. Target needs to team up with Caitlin Jenner and sell an atomically correct transgender doll…complete with an erect penis.

Should they include mini condoms and ball washing sponge?

  11. I shopped there back home. Out of town working for a while and none around here. Will text my family and friends tomorrow and warn them that Target now facilitates men feeling comfortable in the same restroom and fitting room as their daughters, and to not another dime there. They will hear from me with a phone call and email. I suspect the pushback will be massive.

    This shit has to stop.

  12. BTW, is there an online guide to transgenderism?

Is Bruce a transgender man or a transgender woman?

    Does the term change post-op?

What if a chick keeps her boobs and adds a cucumber (complete with a warning for the cats), what do we call it?

Seriously, how do we keep score?

    How will the WNBA decide?

    The Olympics?

What “chick” will the treasury put on the new 3 dollar bill? A transblackgender?

Is there a limit on how many “trans” one can be?

Can I be a translesbian? If so, what beard do I need to shave?

I honestly have no idea how to keep up with this crap.

  13. If one can defy objective reality and merely claim they are fundamentally something they are not, can I shoplift from Target and merely claim that I do not identify as a thief when accosted by security?

  14. Yes, Ted, you can. You can even run for president and claim you won because you almost got enough delegates, so that makes you the winner. Facts don’t matter anymore.

  15. Have not been in a Target since they put so much money into Kerry’s run for the White House. Why the hell do they buckle under to .0001% of the population? I’d consider going back it they’d man up and tell those freaks to go eff themselves. For now, I’ll just tell everyone Target wants the sickest, most depraved, and the weirdest bastards in the same bathroom as lovely young sweet and innocent girls.

  16. If women and girls insist on shopping at Target, bring mace and a stun gun in case you have to use their restrooms.

  17. As a private business,I support targets right to run their business any way they see fit. I’ll also support the lawsuits that are to follow as women are assaulted by freaks who use this policy to victimize target shoppers. This will only go badly.

  18. So will we soon be seeing “people of Target” photos replacing the “people of Walmart” photos on the ‘net?

  19. I don’t see a problem with the dressing rooms, they’re usually one person private anyway.
    Bathrooms. . . . . not so much.

  20. I’ve been to Target a thousand times, many different Target’s around the country. I can honestly say that I have never, not once, used a Target bathroom. When women learn that 99% of the transgendered males decided to use their bathroom, they will rethink this “progressive progress”. Men could care less if women use the men’s room. Just don’t bitch that we left the seats up.

  21. @LocoBlancoSaltine: If your culture believes you can take things from Target without paying for them, then are you implying that you’ve been fooling us with the “Blanco” bit all along…?
