Whimps….
…all we are is dust in the wind…
Where’s Vlad the Impaler when Europe needs him?
The once thriving Christian religions mentioned in the Bible has been destroyed throughout the Middle east, Turkey, much of Africa and Europe is now the cusp of the Muslim hoards overtaking many European Nations (Again).
Not to mention the unvetted Muslims Biden allowed in the US. The majority of Muslim communities in Western Europe and the US was formed as a result of illegal immigration.
The prior History of the muslim military conquest of Africa, middle east, Spain and eastern Europe between 700AD to the 1500s has now been replaced with a peaceful invasion unchecked immigration by most European countries.
The adage, “Those who forget history are condemned to repeat it.”, rings loudly throughout Africa and Europe in today. The Christian Nation’s genocide continues unabated.
It was probably one of the massive downdrafts we get here in the Western US. They can be pretty spectacular. They are associated with dry thunderstorms whose cloud deck is often over 10,000 feet. The first thing you’ll notice is a small ring of dust that grows steadily outward until it envelops the entire valley. The most severe winds, which can be hurricane strength, are in the dust ring.
I believe it to be a vortex ring (like a smoke ring), with the high windspeeds contained in the spin of the toroidal ring.
Damage can be severe. One tore off a large piece of the copper roof of the Utah State Capitol dome and bent a large flagpole, as well as toppling trees and signs throughout the valley, back in 1980.
I was travelling East on I-80 some years ago when I saw one of those dust rings start to spread out toward the freeway. It was near
Battle Mountain, NV (driving through with my family, as a young boy, my poor old grandmother was sent into paroxysms of laughter when she caught site of the giant BM on the mountain). I saw that there was no way to avoid driving through the ring, so I tightened my grip on the steering wheel and began to slow down. The car was shoved into the next lane, but the whole thing was over quickly.
My family got caught in a severe dust storm driving on the old hwy. between Davenport, Wash. and Ephrata Wash. back in the early 60’s on our way home to Ephrata. It was so dark and dusty that we couldn’t see past the hood of our 53 Packard Clipper even with the headlights on. Hoping and praying with my dad driving very slowly that no one was coming towards us from the opposite direction or from behind us and trying to stay on the road without driving into the ditch. That was one hairy and very scary trip.
We lived in Sparks, east of Reno when I was a kid. One year we had a Washoe Zephyr.
A zephyr is a breeze; but, butt … that Washoe Zephyr tore roofs off poorly constructed houses. The Google lies about the meaning of the term — like when they changed the meaning of “black fatigue.” A Washoe Zephyr is a downslope wind like the one that caused the heat wave in the Pacific Northwest a few years ago.
