Andrew McCabe Sues Justice Department and Inspector General Over Firing

CTH: In what can only be seen as a dubious political stunt, Andrew McCabe, through his attorney Michael Bromwich, is suing the DOJ and Inspector General for documents relating to his firing.   Apparently the 39-page IG report, documenting the reasoning, along with the Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) isn’t enough for McCabe.

WASHINGTON DC – Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe filed a lawsuit Tuesday against the FBI, the Justice Department and its inspector general, alleging the Trump administration violated procedures when it fired him in March just hours before his retirement.

The Justice Department cited “lack of candor” for dismissing Mr. McCabe, who had worked at the FBI for more than two decades. The firing upended Mr. McCabe’s ability to collect his benefits and pension.  MORE

  1. McCabe clearly committed multiple felonies…and that’s just what’s publicly known so far.

McCabe, Comey and Brennan need to be sharing one blanket on a concrete floor at Gitmo.
Tried by military tribunal with necessary security clearances.
    National Security.

  2. Hey sorry you can’t have any of those files. National security would be put at risk. Other wise they will be heavily redacted if they weren’t lost by the highly efficient Department of Jokestuse. We’m Put Pete Strzok on it oh yea he was reassigned to HR

  3. At that level of the executive branch, one serves at the will and pleasure of the President. No unions to save you. When the President asks for your voluntary resignation, all you can say is “yes sir, yes sir, three bags full”, as you turn in your “keys” and march smartly out the door.

So suck it up, buttercup. As President Trump would say in a previous life, “YOU’RE FIRED!”

  4. Obviously, whatever deal he’s cut didn’t include letting him get his bennies early. Assuming he’s actually cut a deal or needs to cut a deal. I mean, somebody looking at serious prosecution and prison time would want to put a lawsuit for his early bennies on the back burner. He must feel pretty good about his position right now. Something fixy is going on, I think.

  5. Fooker (and many others) needs to hang.

  6. Prosecute McCabe to the fullest extent of the law and ask for the maximum penalty at sentencing. No deals !
