Frost may be a congressional newcomer but his tagging of AOC shows that he already knows who he needs to suck up to.
BPR: Incoming Democrat House member Maxwell Frost of Florida has quickly learned that Washington D.C. can be a very unforgiving place after the congressman-elect saw his application for an apartment in his new home that was rejected due to a poor credit history.
The 25-year-old activist and musician who won the race to fill the Orlando seat of Rep. Val Demings who walked away from her district to launch an ill-fated Senate run against Marco Rubio, took to Twitter to air his grievances, catching the attention of socialist diva Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who agreed with him that the nation’s capital is a discriminatory environment for those who are not already wealthy.
“Just applied to an apartment in DC where I told the guy that my credit was really bad. He said I’d be fine. Got denied, lost the apartment, and the application fee,” wrote the party’s first Gen Z member of Congress. “This ain’t meant for people who don’t already have money.” more here
He runs up debts he knows he can’t pay to advance his political career?
…boy, is HE in the right job now.
Not to worry. He’s a democrat. After 2 years of insider trading, he will have a net worth of several million. Just be sure to stay on Nancy’s good side.
Another deadbeat zoomer, how novel.
She should be shamed into giving him some $$$ to get a place with from her campaign coffers…..an ethics violation for both and a two’fer to help get rid of both of ’em.
The amount of people defending this deadbeat piece of trash on Twitter is surreal.
Strange….a democrap that didn’t take a ton of campaign money for personal use?
I thought that was the only reason why they go into politics…
Other than tweeting, what did AOC do to help her comrade? Did she co-sign a lease? Make a personal loan or gift to get him into digs? Just wondering.
This would be a great time for a conservative member to reach out with some real help
