Are you funding Mexican drug cartels by buying Avocados?

American Thinker: As I told a Mexican friend, nothing surprises me about Mexico anymore.  Nevertheless, I was even caught off guard by this story in the L.A. Times about cartels and avocados:

Mexico’s multibillion-dollar avocado industry, headquartered in Michoacan state, has become a prime target for cartels, which have been seizing farms and clearing protected woodlands to plant their own groves of what locals call “green gold.”

Green gold!

  1. Rick Bayless on the Create channel is going to have to change his sponsor that advertises avocados from Mexico. The beaners are getting as bad as the chinks in any food that I won’t buy from either country. Gerber’s baby food already looks like diarrhea especially the baby food peas which is why I still hate green peas to this day.

  2. If I’m in Walmart and they’re .68¢, I grab a couple.
Dealers gonna deal but they’re not flourishing off me.

Besides, the fault lies in drug USERS. These days that includes prescription druggies (odds are even your doctor is on ‘mood elevators’).

  3. Dear Avocado makers,
    Another wooden ball.
Now I like that you go to the trouble to put toys inside each one, but Jeeze Louise mix it up some, maybe a car or some stickers now and then

  4. I can’t remember the last time I ate guacamole.

they really don’t have much flavor

I have never eaten humus either.

    looks like camel puke
