The Brooklyn Park home of murdered Minnesota Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband was broken into overnight Tuesday, police said.
The house has been boarded up since Sunday following the grisly double murder, allegedly at the hands of accused political assassin Vance Boelter.
The former Minnesota house speaker and her husband, Mark, were gunned down after Boelter allegedly shot and wounded state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife.
“The home was once again processed by crime scene investigators for evidence of the burglary,” cops said. “The home appeared to have been searched by an unknown individual; however, the family has indicated that they don’t believe anything is missing.” MORE
This is one of those things that make you go, “Hmmmmm.”
Somebody is covering tracks or planting evidence
I knew it. This smelled like a CIA hit from the git. And we’ll never know wtf. This guy wasn’t suppose to be taken alive.
Seems odd, and yet…when crooks know a place will be empty of people it becomes prime picking territory. These headlines are a big LOOT AVAILABLE HERE sign to them.
Almost now looking like what did she have and who did she have it on?
They used to give the addresses of the deceased in the obituaries when I was young.
You can guess why that practice ended.
Curiouser and curiouser. Shadow government cover up operation or crime of opportunity. The couple, possible Deep State political operatives just knew too much, tried to breakaway and got cancelled.
Pshyco went back to steal the underwear.
Wow, what a coincidence. Totally unrelated events, I’m sure.
Talk about not letting a crisis go to waste! From the burglar’s point of view, you gotta strike while the iron’s hot.
Conspiracy senses doing overtime for me.
“Authorities are asking neighbors to review their surveillance cameras for any sign of the intruder and to contact police with any information.”
Is this just bad police work? I mean, if I was the lead investigator in this case, I’d be talking directly to ALL the neighbors and personally reviewing their Ring camera films before any of it got ‘accidentally’ erased. Wouldn’t you?
(Karen Read’s verdicts today were “not guilty” except for the lowest charge of DUI. I’ve watched nearly all the trial testimony and “the guy” was not hit by her car. The only reasonable explanation is his fellow officers beat him up and put him outside to die in the snow storm. This is on the heels of another murder of a young woman in a nearby Boston suburb in which the police closed ranks and covered for another fellow cop. Not sure I would trust any police force at this point.)
@ Different Tim. YEP When my mom passed, a scammer tried to rent out her/our house online, only by luck and sheer coincidence were we able to stop him before he scammed anyone.
I reckon they’ll be finding child porn on the computer now.
Kinda macabre to say it, but you know nobody is home, and there’s no dog to worry about.
The only reason we know about the break-in is because someone wants us to know about the break-in.
Different Tim, but they still publish the date, time and location of the funerals.
