DMF: A forged signature swapped for $1 — or sometimes a cigarette. The crude exchange played out hundreds of times on L.A.’s skid row during the 2016 election cycle and again this year, prosecutors said Tuesday as they announced criminal charges against nine people accused in a fraud scheme. Using cash and cigarettes as lures, the defendants approached homeless people on skid row and asked them to forge signatures on state ballot measure petitions and voter registration forms, the district attorney’s office said.  MORE

  1. Each forged signature should be swapped for a nail on the coffin of the TRAITOR who committed this crime.

  2. We need a convention of states to amend the Constitution requiring that voting can only be done in person, only on election day, and only with photo proof of citizenship. Military personnel can have voting facilities set aside for them in theater.

  3. The unavoidable truth is that 2/3s citizenship is way too much for some.
    Also makes the case for suffrage only for property owners and tax-payers
