California Long Gun Sales Skyrocket with ‘Bullet Button’ Ban Approaching

Breitbart: On January 1, 2017, the sale of modern sporting rifles with “bullet button” magazine release mechanisms will be prohibited and this has led to a run on AR-15 and AK-47-based firearms.

For those not familiar with a “bullet button,” it is a magazine release that California lawmakers require as a means of reducing the speed at which a law-abiding citizen can remove an empty magazine to replace it with a loaded one. The mechanism releases the magazine once the citizen uses a tool or the point of a bullet–thus the name “bullet button”–to press in the button.

Breitbart News spoke with Sam Paredes, executive director of Gun Owners of California, about the current buying surge and he said that “as of two weeks ago, 1.3 million guns had been sold in California during 2016.” Moreover, he said they expect another “300,000 to 600,000” firearm transfers to be added to that number before the year ends.

It is important to note that the 1.3 million guns sold represent all types of guns–long guns and handguns–but Paredes stressed that long gun sales alone are skyrocketing.  more

  1. I know Sam. He’s been in the shop a couple times in the last year. Awesome guy that completely understands the dynamics of what shaping up here in California and that would be extremely dense population of retards near the water and a bazillion acres of Patriots that are not buying their shit. Cali Patriots are like the guys in the Alamo waiting for DJT to rescue us. We might need to shoot it out. Good news is the coppers will be on our side

  2. By the way, the bullet button at the first of the year is illegal. You have until 1-1-18 to register your bullet button gun as an assault weapon. However if you do that, now illegal bullet button needs to remain in that killing machine. Even though the legislation declared the bullet button illegal. Cali is the epicenter of retarded mother fucking liberal law makers. If you plan on visiting bring some rope.

  3. Bass Pro stopped selling AR platforms last week. I’m bored as hell, now. I’m also becoming more and more irritated at the slackers who NOW are starting to come in to buy an AR but can’t, then wonder why?

I also have LEO’s asking ME what the friggin’ law is concerning this crap.

Great situational awareness, Californian’s. Way to go.

I think patriotic Californian’s should just move out to other free states and let the left-wing fucktards stew in their own juices.

Donald Trump should put the wall along the San Andreas Fault line and let liberal California rot on the other side of it.

  4. I say … when Trump builds the wall, don’t stop until the Peoples Progressive Republic of Kommiefornia is also walled up

    … sorry Brad

  5. ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ, I understand that statement, I really do. It you’d be captureing a shit load of Patriots behind enemy lines. The reason the Cock Sucker won’t cut the rest of the state loose is they need our water. But I’ll guarantee you I can show you parts of Cali that make the most conservative areas of Texas seem liberal. Giving up real estate is not the answer. That’s what the freaken NRA did. They don’t get it either.

  6. Maybe the Bullet Button thingy will lessen the chances of us hearing Brad shot himself in the foot. 🙂

  7. Diogenes, Naw, that’s always my favorite target. Lol

  8. If folks in CA had called the latch a frustrating magazine retention system, or whatever, instead of the scary sounding BULLET BUTTON then this would not be happening.

  9. Thinking, Well hell man, that’s the answer. Holy Crap

  10. @Brad ~ I hear ya … it’s a shame such a beautiful place has been taken over by such crap weasels

keep up the good fight. we need patriots now more than ever

… in the immortal words of Peter Quincy Taggart … “Never give up. Never surrender!”

It always seems to be where the water meets the sand. I don’t get it.

  12. Time may be ripe for Northern California and Southern and Eastern Oregon to revive the State of Jefferson movement.

  13. As a captive of this fucked up Golden Shower paradise I will not go gently into the good night. There is a storm coming.
