Colonizing Mars is Like Sexual Assault, Says Gender Studies Prof

DANGEROUS: While most of mankind remains in awe at the promise of colonizing the Red Planet, a leading gender studies professor says that the race to Mars isn’t just “patriarchal,” but is simply “another example of male entitlement.”

Marcie Bianco, the managing editor of the Clayman Institute at Stanford University, columnist for the Women’s Research Center, and adjunct professor at Hunter College condemns Elon Musk’s wondrous efforts to promote space exploration as mere expressions of his “toxic masculinity.”

Writing for NBC, Bianco compares Musk’s advances in rocket propulsion technology to a “midlife crisis,” grouping him up with other capitalist entrepreneurs like Virgin’s Richard Branson, and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos—individuals who are also endeavoring to stake out humanity’s claim on the stars.

“These men, particularly Musk, are not only heavily invested in who can get their rocket into space first, but in colonizing Mars,” writes Bianco. “The desire to colonize — to have unquestioned, unchallenged and automatic access to something, to any type of body, and to use it at will — is a patriarchal one.”  MORE

  1. “… a leading gender studies professor …”

Huh? Is that the same as a “leading mental fukkin retard?”
    Or “… a leading – profoundly stupid – poseur?”
Or “… a leading, disingenuous, pretentious, clamoring to publish something – ANY-FUKKIN-THING! – second rate affirmative-action hire?”

These fools should stay in their cloisters and be prohibited from polluting the minds of our ignorant youth.

    izlamo delenda est …

  2. The competition for the most absurd remarks must be fierce. Just when you think they’ve reached the limits of nonsense they manage to top it with more drivel.

  3. I’ve been into female gender studies for years. I see a female I study the hell outta her. Mostly during the summer months.

  4. Good thing she wasn’t around when Love Canal was in the news every day. Would have stripped her gears to wrestle with THAT.

  5. male entitlement.

Still waiting on my first entitlement. Here, on Earth.

I’m ripped right off, however. Women and girls have always gone first, get first choice, I can’t hit them back, no one ever looked at me or gave me something just because of my assets, etc. for my entire life. Yet, I have male entitlement. Yeaaaaa… OKEE DOOKEE.

  6. Yeah I am entitled.
    All men are entitled.
We get all the cool jobs, and all that big money
That’s why there are so many women test pilots on untried technology, plumbers, sewer workers, carpenters, brick layers, steel workers and stucco hod carriers.
That’s why when they build a giant machine that sits on top of thousands of gallons of highly explosive chemicals, and get to let it explode directly under them, go out where no one has ever gone, with a big ass chance of dying horribly, with no reasonable shot at rescue; so many women push and shove to get on.

  7. What does a professor of gender studies know about space travel? Second clue, she’s writing for NBC who’s alleged reporting is marginally better than CNN’s.
Do you automatically lose 50 IQ points when you sign on to be a professor?
We need to adopt some much stronger regulations on who can instruct our children. Clowns like Marcie do not cut it. And what the hell is gender studies about, there’s only two.

  8. To deranged narcissists, (place any subject here) is always all about them and whatever subject they find important, always.
