You may or may not realize it but we have been rationing for decades.
Food portions inside the same packaging has shrunk by an average of 25% -50% while prices have doubled and tripled.
Just look at a slice of average bread. Maybe 2/3 the size of an old slice. The expensive specialty bread is the size of the regular old time bread.
Chips, cookies, you name it are half the size and contents of how they used to be. Double stuffed Oreos are the original cookie stuffing but the cookie is smaller. Eggs are smaller.
Now we are going to have to ration the half rations we are already on.
