Daily Caller: Washington, D.C. crews began clearing out homeless encampments Friday, just two days after President Donald Trump warned Democratic Mayor Muriel Bowser to do so.
Videos posted to X show the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) and other personnel cleaning up an encampment near the U.S. Department of State building. One video posted by NBC4 reporter Mark Segraves shows MPD officers handcuffing a woman as she appears to protest. Another posted by freelance journalist Andrew Leyden shows a line of vehicles and several personnel participating in the operation.
This move comes after Trump warned Bowser to clean up the city, claiming the scene was “unsightly” in a Wednesday post on Truth Social.

Nip it in the bud before former federal parasites start living on the street.
Calling homeless camps “unsightly” is like calling Al Green “unsightly.”
I’ll bet a few guys would be happy to help them by running bulldozers through these camps. Same with the scum at Columbia and Barnard colleges.
