I have observed, over my lifetime, that a Dem’s approval rating never falls below 20%. No matter what. NO MATTER WHAT. It’s like the CIA is controlling it or something.

So what I heard today was only 3% of America disapproved of Trump’s address and what he is doing with DOGE.
I remember a Libertarian Party presidential candidate saying once that the dems would survive forever because they were the “Santa Claus” party, meaning that everyone wants something for nothing, so there would always be plenty of folks supporting the dems because that was their M.O. Literally every democrat in Congress thinks men belong in women’s sports, locker rooms, bath rooms, and prisons… every single one. Only 20% of the public agrees.

I watched it and it was either a temper tantrum or it was a meltdown. Decorum is proper and polite behavior. This was a function of individuals who have been conditioned into being perpetual infants. For the love of God man, what we witnessed is behavior that society expects human parents to have worked through with their children during the toddler stage of a child’s development.
Let me give you an example: In 2010 I was laid off and took the opportunity to spend quite a bit of time with my three year old daughter. So, while I’m working out at the YMCA she has a structured activity, followed by open recreation time. When I go to collect her and it’s time to go we get to see child after child do the flop. I’m patient and we are usually among the last to leave, and I tell her that I don’t play that game. I’m not going to pick up a child that has gone limp and struggle to carry them to the car. You are too old to pull a stunt like that and you know better.
So, one day we have to leave promptly and down she goes. OK, fine. I walks over to the hose bib take the sprinkler off the hose, turn the water on and walk over and tell her that if she isn’t on her feet and acting her age by the count of… and up she comes.
These idiot democrats have been pulling this shit their entire life and the idiot Republican establishment has been enabling it. For the last two or three decades this hasn’t been governed as a Constitutional Republic, it has been government by temper tantrum.
The problem the Democrats have is that they have been enabled and encouraged to act like infants. Up until this point they have gotten their way by throwing a walleyed fit. Eight years ago Paul Ryan and the Republican establishment would have enabled this shit and encouraged more of it by siding with democrats. Just like the parent who undermines the family and frustrates the child’s developmental by siding with the child that was acting up.

Before it became a mini Chicago hellhole, it was as you described a small rural safe city in the Midwest. Even more so when I grew up during the 1960s. It had industries like Lauhoff and GM that grew the economy including farms. A thriving small community. What happened to my hometown is criminal.

Daughter now in private practice as nurse practitioner and had many jobs working her way thru the system and getting her masters. Wide and varied experience makes her a better doctor than most doctors in my Opinion. and private practice allows her to actually “practice medicine” unlike many in the system who must tow the line called by the large corporate owners calling the shots.
Demoncrats may collapse, but they eventually shape shifted and come back in another form of evil.
