Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs’ trial was thrown into chaos on Monday after the jury handed the judge a note just one hour after starting their deliberations.
Around 5pm, Judge Arun Subramanian returned to the bench and said there are ‘two letters from the jury.’
The first was a question related to the racketeering charges – specifically on whether one can be found guilty of distribution if another person requests they give them drugs.
The other note informed the court they planned to end at 5pm.
Diddy’s legal team appeared to look tense as they huddle together after the jury left for the day while the prosecutors seemed more relaxed and were seen smiling.
The jury will return to court tomorrow at 9am as both side plan to consider their responses overnight.
The first note – which came soon after Diddy’s fate was placed in their hands – read: ‘We have a juror, no.25, we are concerned cannot follow your honor’s instructions. May you please intervene.’ more
A juror is not required to follow the judge’s instructions.
Jury nullification is a real thing.
‘We have a juror, no.25, we are concerned cannot follow your honor’s instructions. May you please intervene.’
Apparently, the fix was in – but there may be a fly in the ointment.
Uncle Al is (as usual) absolutely correct.
Go jump off of a bridge. Yes your Honor.
It wouldn’t surprise me at all if it came to light that this jury was tampered with all along by the defense.
They can still decide he is guilty using only 11 jurors.
tell someone who GAS about dindu assholes
give a mouthbreathing cocksucker like that money and power and this is what you get. he is a depraved zoo animal who is unfit for society.
So either A) all jurors think he is guilty except #25 (likely a black woman), or B) all jurors think he is not guilty (all black) except #25 (likely a white man). This is starting to look like OJ all over again.
they wanted a twerking break, otherwise its rayciss
I believe that, until a verdict is reached, a judge can replace a juror with an alternate.
