Do You Know the People in Your Neighborhood?

CBS Minnesota

Federal immigration authorities took several people into custody in Duluth Thursday morning, CBS affiliate KBJR reports.

A witness said the people arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement were working on a roofing project in the Lakeside neighborhood at the time.

ICE declined to provide information to WCCO, saying, “Due to our operational tempo and the increased interest in our agency, we are not able to research and respond to specifics of routine daily operations for ICE.” More

Both the mayor and chief of police were quick to state they had no involvement in enforcing federal immigration law. Here

  1. Sounds like Florida’s Sgt. John Mina. After “handling” the Pulse investigation poorly years ago, he now decides he’s not arresting illegals so his governor can suck eggs. I guess. So much for DeSantis being on board with the POTUS’s agenda…sore loser.

  2. Got a couple of Muslim women with a baby in the apt behind me. Probably not legal.
We have a few African illegal families down the street.
Other than that a mix of welfare and pretty well off people.
Plus a tank farm across the street which I like because they have a huge setback field and are quiet.

  3. Not paying into SS, not paying into unemployment not paying federal or state income tax, under bidding legit businesses that follow the law. Shut them down and send them back.
