  1. i understand the issue, when one card is maxed out, you activate another, and continue spending. but, removing the temptation to spend more is a good start.
    this is a problem with all gov., be they local, state, and/or federal.
    even your labor unions are guilty of this activity.
    corrupt to the core they are.
    where ever there are humans involved, there will be corruption.

  3. I am not a bureaucrat but an FAA technician. I have an unused travel card, because I rarely travel on official business. My card’s limit is currently $1. Need to attend training at the end of the month. Hope not affected by this.

  4. In the several articles I’ve read about DOGE and credit card cancelations, I’ve not seen any mention of any annual fee cost savings. It seems unlikely to me that all these cards are no-fee accounts, or is that something about CCs issued to govt entities that I’ve missed?

  5. NIdahoOrthodo – If you don’t use it, why would you be worried about losing it? Quite frankly I traveled quite a bit before I got a corporate AMEX and always got reimbursed up sumbitting an expense report.
