Historic Tavern Where Boston Tea Party Was Planned Gets Attacked by Leftist Harassment Mob

DANGEROUS: The Green Dragon Tavern is fighting back against hysteria that lead to a targeted harassment campaign labeling the pub “Nazis.”

The Boston bar, a stone’s throw away from Fanuiel Hall, has nothing to do with so-called “Neo-Nazis” or any other “hate group.” However, the owners, Noelle and Sean Somers, say their establishment is being blasted on social media.

“We have never and will never tolerate hate, and for it to be portrayed that we do is just disgusting,” Noelle said at a press conference on Friday. “It’s been a very painful week to me — getting this onslaught of emails and calling us Nazis.”

The onslaught began when Marxist agitators say they stalked the group of law-abiding citizens from a local protest to the bar. Friday night the campaigners held an uneventful rally in front of Green Dragon Tavern.

Yelp, Facebook, and Google are being used to spread the delirium, according to the Somers. This type of gas lighting has become a favorite tactic of college progressives when the delusion of Nazi-panic pops into their minds, facts be damned.

“Stay Away This Bar serves Nazis. I was there and a group of about 20 idiots openly wearing swastikas and other white supremacist symbols walked in. They were purposely intimidating other patrons,” says one reviewer, describing an event that did not happen according to surveillance footage.   more here

  1. The left is The Borg.
No individual thought allowed. No individualism at all allowed.
    The left are tyrannical tools.

  2. The left: Lying liars telling lies, lies, lies.

I miss the 60s, when hard hats could wade into a crowd of leftist agitators and start throwing punches. My, how the tables have turned.

    “describing”…

They say a picture is worth a thousand words of description. Unless everybody forgot their phone. Amazing that the same college idiots who spend half their time doing 360 degree selfies are so wound up about mere words.

  5. First, would anyone in the Boston area please patronize the Green Dragon as often as you can. Second, this nonsensical rabid attack on an innocent businessman just trying to make a living has got to stop by any means possible. Why blame a business for doing what it is intended to do which is serve customers.
Legal actions can be pursued or a cadre of pissed customers on a search and destroy mission are a couple that spring to mind. Something has to be done and quickly.

    > If the original tea partiers knew how this would end up, I wonder if they would have bothered.

There were fortunes to be made. As public servants. Who’d walk away from that deal?

  9. Good grief. Do these assholes wake up, scratch their lack of balls, and ask “who can we target for offending us today?”

  10. @GrimmCreeper, yes. They have nothing better to do, for example: a job. I guess that IS their job.

  11. So, (note I used the comma) will this create the opposite reaction that I saw in my area when the new Chic-fil-A was opening. Got them a packed parking lot and drive through for the first two weeks of their opening with no let up for the support.

They just don’t get it. Couldn’t create more support than doing crap like this…

  12. Screenshot the comments. Then backtrack the Marxists to a name, face, and address. After that, there are three choices: lawsuit for slander and libel (which is NOT covered under 1A), SWATting, or ambush. Any of the above would make me very happy, indeed.

  13. Had a very nice lunch here today. I told the manager why we chose their place and he said thanks for the support. We sat in the open window directly behind the Red Coat out front. Started with PEI mussels in scampi sauce. Hubby had the bacon blue cheese burger and I had the huge cobb salad. Everyone was very nice and it’s a great place to people watch. The history of the place is impressive.
