I Don’t Think She Fully Understands What Car Pooling Is

An Illinois mother was arrested after authorities say she was driving around with her kids inside a pool on the roof of her vehicle.

The Dixon Police Department said they were notified by a concerned citizen about the vehicle on Tuesday.

Police conducted a traffic stop and spoke with the driver, 49-year-old Jennifer A. Janus Yeager.

Officers were told Yeager drove into town to inflate the pool at a friend’s house and had her two daughters ride inside of the empty pool to hold it down on their drive home.

Yeager was placed under arrest for two counts of endangering the health or life of a child and two counts of reckless conduct.

She was also cited for failure to secure a passenger of the age of 8 and under the age of 16.

Officers found the vehicle driving around with a blue inflatable pool on the roof with two juveniles inside of it.

  1. I bet she’s gonna be really upset when she realizes that she could’ve just driven into town and bought an inflater pump for a whole lot less than what her fines and court costs will add up to.

  2. Most Illinoisans are over-taxed mentally and financially, this is not a surprise. More incidents and worse will occur as Illinois taxes are raised on those who refuse to leave the state.

  3. Reagan was from Dixon, Il. A few miles from here through the corn. You won’t always find the brightest bulbs out this way, surprised they didn’t get her for DUI as well. However, to her credit, she isn’t the first to do this.

  4. A dear and now deceased friend of mine lost his only son years ago, by allowing the lad to ride in the back of the pickup on the new mattress they had just purchased. My friend’s life changed that day. Very sad. I am sorry that I never new him happy.
I am glad this scrunt didn’t post-birth abort her daughters.

  5. It’s true. My home state occupants have gone Looney Tunes the tighter the leftist choke hold on their government. The governor just signed a bill, “…states that a “fertilized egg, embryo, or fetus does not have independent rights under the law of this State.”
The people of Illinois did this to themselves.

  6. I need to disengage the Evelyn Wood Speed Reading technique. At first glance I thought it read, she was driving her car around in an empty pool.

Are we sure she wasn’t smuggling two beaners under there? I mean it’s all the rage now.

  7. Should’ve bought and transported an inground pool. They’re much heavier and stay on by themselves.

  8. Ahhhh … you can kill em (in utero)… but you can’t let em have fun in a mobile pool?

There seems to be some kind of disconnect, here.

And in some counties in Illinois, drive-by shootings of l’il chillens goes unpunished! So much for “justice!”

    izlamo delenda est …
