Zero Hedge:
Idaho has become the latest of a handful of states to legalize over-the-counter sales of the anti-parasite drug ivermectin following the COVID-19 pandemic.
Idaho Gov. Brad Little, a Republican, did not offer any comments on the bill, which was among many measures he signed on April 14. The bill had been passed with little resistance in the Idaho Legislature and took effect immediately. https://www.zerohedge.com/medical/idaho-governor-signs-bill-ivermectin-be-sold-over-counter
about time……hope it has GOOD instructions
I wish I had a Republican governor.
I find it interesting that this drug is so demonized when the two scientists who discovered/developed it were awarded the Nobel prize.
…best read the ingredients CLOSELY, wouldnt put it past Pharma to “improve” it with mRNA…
YES!!
Will I be able to mail order it, or will the state require face-to-face transactions? If it’s mailable, someone ought to set up an Amazon shop.
It’s pending here in SC.
I have bought the ‘horse paste’, but would rather take the pills, whether occasionally or when I feel I should. But the prescription price is more than I am willing to pay.
@Uncle Al – Amazon Pharmacy carries the tablets, may require you to follow state law though.
When we were kids growing up in Southeast Texas, we spent all summer going barefoot. I remember us being given pills to rid us of any parasites that might have entered our bodies through our feet while trekking through all of the places that kids trek. I wonder if it was Ivermectin. Mom got it from the family doctor.
the stethoscope-******* will be changing their pants over this
Uncle Al, I live in Idaho. You can PM me if you need help getting some. BFH should have my email address.
I don’t understand the need to pass a law making it legal to provide OTC. Was it previously illegal in Idaho. I know that pot is still a class 1 narcotic and it is illegal to possess or sell it, even for ‘medical’ reasons, in ID, but Ivermectin is not in that class of drugs, so why the need to ‘legalize’ OTC?
And Ivermectin has many other uses in addition to ‘parasite’ treatment.
@AA — Aria (Opera’s AI) tells me that the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy is the primary controller of prescription v. OTC drug classification, but that the legislature can also exert control. From a political standpoint, my take on this is that the legislature is making sure that the Board of Pharm. can’t be influenced by Big Pharma to keep ivermectin under strict control. Now it’s a done deal that it’s not controllable that way. I hope.
Thanks, @NIdahoOrthodox, I may take you up on that later on. I’ve got a modest supply and I hope FL will follow suit soon.
AA^^^Many studies confirm it fights cancers.
Thanks, Uncle Al & Anonymous. Al, doesn’t it seem legally twisted for the ID legislature to have to do this to protect Ivermectin’s availability, rather than for the pharmacy people having to prove their potential prohibition of it? Something doesn’t seem right to me. Perhaps I’m thinking of the way in which the U.S. Constitution leaves anything not specifically protected under it and the Bill of Rights, alone, as a defacto right.
discountmd.net You are welcome.
You people are all idiots!!!! Everyone knows that Ivermectin is for horses.
Paul thank you very much. My order is in.
NIO,
Please let us know the OTC price.
TIA.
I believe that it was April of 2020 that I posted right here that friends and relatives in the ag business were telling me that Ivermectin injectable in orange juice knocked the Coronavirus Virus right out. You get it at the feed store.

Late to the party, but thanks for the link. Cheaper than what I’ve seen before and hope the tariff thing doesn’t screw it up.
