Thanks, Trump.
Last year, I helped my daughter Literaleigh prepare for her college entrance exams. We enjoyed deciding which schools she would apply to and I was delighted to see a variety of innovative and highly intellectual classes offered at the country’s top colleges and universities. Not that she would get into those places, but it was nice to see.
I almost wish I could go back and earn my degrees again. How far I would have gone in life if I could have studied Asian Drag Queens of Berlin, Pre-World War Two.
But then something happened.
Trump.
Can you hear my screams and howls? MORE
I took three semesters of theology at St. Thomas (St. Paul). The first two were a decent objective study. The third was given by a lib-wack Berkley graduate. You can imagine the arguments I had with him as he would insist that his opinions were ‘concrete’ fact. But I passed the course anyway.
…this is funny and all, but theres only so much corruption a culture will absorb without reacting.
When I saw this…
“I almost wish I could go back and earn my degrees again. How far I would have gone in life if I could have studied Asian Drag Queens of Berlin, Pre-World War Two.”
…it made me think of the end of the movie “Cabaret”, which does a really good job showing us the face of the dissolute and perverted Weimar Republic when, at the end, it has a spotlight pan from that face to the reaction that happened to it, and that human history shows us is generally the reaction it ALWAYS gets, sooner or later…

…the modern West is MORE perverted than even Weimar Germany.
So we can expect an even MORE severe backlash, sooner or later.
…you know what happens when you sow the wind, after all…
Right off the bat, I couldn’t stop laughing about the name she gave her “daughter.”
MJA – Literally!!
Starbucks hardest hit.
Because Asian drag queens are important to society, no matter the era.
And to think I could have gotten a PhD in Bull Sh!t
(Phd = Piled higher and deeper)
Way too much to “unpack”, as is said.
Easily solved: Stop giving any federal funds to colleges and universities. Then just see how far these institutions get on their alumni donations.
One of my friends growing up was named Stan, he named his daughter Stanalee. And my youngest brother is named Rex who once met a girl named Rexina. There’s no end to parents giving their kids dumb names. If my parents had a girl in addition to 4 boys, she would’ve been named Willie Lee an old family name. I can just imagine having to introduce my sister Willie.
geoff – I just wrote a whole paper on my middle name!

…my wife has a female cousin named “Doyleen”. It seems her dad, Doyle, REALLY wanted a son.
FWIW, it didnt make her gay or trans.
But its probably not great to get a reminder of how you were a disappointment to your father from the day you were born every time you say your own name…
literaleigh? I’ve known people with unusual names, but that’s really strange. Poor kid.
Don’t ever give a girl the first name Ima just because.
