Great rendition of an early classic song of the rock and roll era from the early 60’s by The Tokens. I can remember hearing the nearby sounds of the jungle in the Philippines around the Subic Bay naval base and Olongapo City at night.
How can you not but smile at that. All it needs now is Tarzan, Cheetah and a whole bunch of pygmies in the background like in an old Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan movie. And some elephants, ungowa!

The rehearsals must have been a riot.

Very enjoyable – as were the hairstyles of many of the older boys! LOL!

Damn, I can’t stop hearing that song in my head. And I never liked that song.

All male lions seem to have the look we see in the picture. It’s a stern, don’t mess with me look. A no-nonsense stare.
When the male lion catches a Hyena or wild African Dog trying to steal one of the Pride’s cubs, the lion shows no mercy. It’s all over in a few seconds.

Beautiful, skilled and talented presentation. Excellent boys choir and conductor. The perfected animal sounds make the song much more enjoyable.

My parents had that album.
We played this song all the time.
What an unusual and great choice for a choir like this to perform.
Such talented boys.

Great, just great. Bringing back the great years of long ago. Thanks.
Delightfully entertaining! Thanks.
Nice!
thank you Claudia! that was awesome.
Because I prefer seeing it full-size, instead of landscape converted to portrait converted back to landscape. 🙂
