Iowa Voters Blame Employers for Hiring Illegal Aliens After Mollie Tibbetts Murder

The vast majority of Iowans blame employers that entice and hire illegal aliens for the country’s widespread illegal immigration problem, a new poll reveals.

Last month, law enforcement announced that 20-year-old college student Mollie Tibbetts’ body had been found in a cornfield in her rural hometown of Brooklyn, Iowa after she was last seen jogging on July 18.

Illegal alien Cristhian Bahena-Rivera, a 24-year-old from Mexico, has been charged with first-degree murder in Tibbetts’ death after police say he admitted to confronting and chasing down the young woman. The illegal alien lived in a region of Iowa that was surrounded by sanctuary cities, as Breitbart News noted, and an initial autopsy report revealed that Bahena-Rivera allegedly stabbed Tibbetts to death.

Bahena-Rivera worked for the nearby dairy farm, Yarrabee Farms, which owns the property and trailer where the illegal alien had been living and which, allegedly, many Mexican nationals frequented, as Breitbart News reported.

In a Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll following the charges against Bahena-Rivera, about 63 percent of Iowans blame employers for hiring illegal aliens, rather than the illegal aliens, themselves. Only about 16 percent of Iowans said they blame the illegal aliens.   more

  1. Do they first blame politicians who refuse to control the nearly nonexistent border, and the ones establishing sanctuary? If they don’t they’re too stupid to be allowed to vote.
