Jake Tapper obliterates Gov. Cuomo for ignoring New York’s lethal pandemic failures during his ‘victory tour’

Cuomo inexplicably published a bizarre poster praising his governance.

Blaze: CNN host Jake Tapper excoriated New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo for his “victory tour” on his state’s coronavirus response when so many were hurt and even died from his “missteps and late actions.”

Tapper began his complaints against the governor on Twitter and moved on to his news show Tuesday on CNN. He cited Cuomo’s appearance on late night talk shows and a bizarre poster he published to celebrate his response to the coronavirus pandemic.

“NY state has lost more than 32,000 lives to COVID-19. So while it’s great that the numbers have gone down, it’s perplexing to see crowing, Cuomo going on Fallon, etc.,” Tapper tweeted. MORE

SNIP: In the video, Sanjay Gupta is still kissing Cuomo’s ass. Which is a big part of the reason the Cuomos are never held accountable.

  1. I have to wonder what Tapper’s game is here. Is there a power struggle going on? Is Hillary—or somebody else—trying to damage him for a run in 2022? I think the Dems have always worried about DJTJ running for governor. Whatever the reason for Jake’s attack, it ain’t from the goodness of his heart.

  4. Cuomo is just a politician/blamer, don’t expect anything but excuses and finger pointing.

  5. Cuomo is desperate to avoid the fact that he and Dr. Zucker are responsible for over 6,500 senior citizen needless deaths, making him the most prolific serial murderer in the history of the State. All in all, almost 33% of the total deaths in the USA happened in the State of New York.
