Judge dismissing prosecution motions in Rittenhouse hearing, including two linking to Proud Boys

Just the News-

A Wisconsin judge has denied several motions by prosecutors who’ve charged teen Kyle Rittenhouse in connection with two fatal shootings during the summer 2020 social justice protests, including their plan to include photos of the teen posing with members of the Proud Boys.

Judge Bruce Schroeder denied the motions Friday.

Prosecutors want to depict Rittenhouse as a lawless and violent vigilante. So at the trial they want to use events before and after the shooting under the category of “other acts,” according to CBS-58 News in Wisconsin.

The judge also dismissed a motion to include in the scheduled Nov. 1 trial information about the defendant meeting in Miami with leaders of the Proud Boys, a far-right group.

The defense argued the connection of such evidence to the focus of the trial is weak.

Rittenhouse, 17 at the time of the incident, travelled from Illinois to the Wisconsin city of Kenosha to protect businesses from rioters. more

  1. Prosecutors need to be brought up on outlandish charges so they know how an innocent person feels after being prosecuted for political reasons.

  2. If you watch ANY of those videos it’s pretty easy to tell our young Kyle is in full on survival mode. In fact luck was on his side that night. So now the chicken ship prosecution is trying to prove he had murderous intent just showing up there. Well gee, what was the intent of the assholes that were trying to kill him. Our justice system has evolved into a treacherous loose interpretation of right and wrong. I hate lawyers. And most politicians are Lawyers.

  4. Just more fake news from our fake government.
His attorney should claim he had an adverse reaction to the JAB, case dismissed.
We know there was paid instigators, where’s that list?

  5. The electric chair, gas chamber or hung at sunrise, your choice. Still guilty as sin. The jab was not out yet when he committed his crime.

  6. It is legal to walk down the street with a rifle in plain view in WI.
    That is not instigation.
Hitting someone over the head with a skateboard is instigation.

It’s better to let someone think you are a FOOL than to open your mouth and prove it.
