Larry Elder: ‘Porous Borders Are Allowing Illegal Aliens to Take Jobs’ from Minorities

Breitbart: Radio show host Larry Elder told Breitbart News on Saturday that porous borders affect minority communities, adding that many black people know this and are in favor of securing U.S. borders.

“I do feel there’s a great deal of momentum right now for the black conservative movement,” said Elder. “I just saw an NAACP poll that said 21 percent of blacks now support Trump. That is seven times the support that Trump got in 2016. So something is clearly happening,”

“And that something is this,” continued Elder. “Trump is doing something about illegal immigration.”

“A lot of people don’t think [illegal immigration] is an issue that black people care about, but it turns out that according to studies, porous borders are allowing illegal aliens — particularly those who are unskilled — to take jobs away from inner city blacks and browns, and they put downward pressure on their wages.”

“If you look at polls, blacks are far more supportive of doing something about the borders than their counterparts in the Democratic Party,” said Elder.

“The other thing is this: Right now, only three percent of kids can do math at grade level at their high school,” added Elder. “What Trump wants to do is allow parents to have a voucher. The money should follow the child, rather than the other way around.” more here

  1. How can anybody support illegal activities which destroy national identidy, national sovereignty, national security, national “community.”

People here legally and those citizens by birth, regardless of racial identity suffer if another class of people are favored. Blacks have progressed but demoncrats see them as problems if they don’t follow the agenda and stay on the plantation.

  2. Trump has been incredibly successful at opening the eyes of many blacks in this country as to who wants them to do better for themselves and those who want them contained and controlled.
There seems to be a growing restlessness out there of those that refuse to accept the status quo. About time!

  3. Assuming that the “minorities” want to work – and to learn.

Sorry. In my (extremely limited) experience, nobody (few) wants to work – “minority” or otherwise.

Most of the peeps I ran across were lazy and ignorant – and, more importantly, were proud of their lazy ignorance.

But then, maybe we just gravitate towards gov’t “work.”
