I swear that I saw a quote from some civil rights leader who said he/she would rather deal with an outright racist than with a “liberal”. The racist, the person said, lets you know where you stand with him or her. The liberal, on the other hand, will smile and lie to your face and then stab you in the back.
Anyone know who said this? Or did I imagine it?

Most people have never heard of Manning Johnson, a black American patriot – a former communist.
He was very effected by white liberalism. It lead to a dedication to comnunism he later absolutely rejected.
He spent the rest of his life speaking about the evil consequences of communism, especially the effect on black Americans.
