Providence plans on raising the Palestinian flag over City Hall on Friday, a decision that has sparked controversy throughout the community.

Mayor Brett Smiley spoke about the issue Wednesday during a “Connect to Providence” segment on NBC 10 News at 5:30.

Smiley told NBC 10’s Dan Jaehnig that two of his constituents made the request to raise the flag.

“If it was up to me, I wouldn’t have flown this flag,” he said. “It came in from a constituent via the City Council and I had no grounds to deny it.” More

  1. Nice. Those people had a chance to have their very own independent state and they voted “no”. They’ve had their chance; disperse them amongst the various and sundry Islamic states.

This is the reason to deny the request of the “constituents” (if they exist).

  2. Someone in the comments posted the RI state law this violates. They’re doing it because they want to and they are blaming “constituents” because they are cowards.

  3. “ I had no grounds to deny it.”

    Translation:
‘I was too chicken not to fly a foreign terrorist flag on an American government building.’

THAT is exactly why we are losing our country to lawless bastards of all levels, all the way from rats and cockroaches to the highest levels of the government, especially congress persons, and radical lawless judges, and law enforcement, and the (un)intelligent agencies, and the damn commie media.

It is past time to flush the SWAMP. Trump is doing an amazing job and DOGE uncovered even more crap, but it is time to quit piling up the crap and start shoveling it away.

We still have the piles of 💩 evidence from the Clinton’s, Biden’s, obamas, Comey, faucci,…….

Oh shoot, I think that the only justice we will ever see is IF the perpetrators stand next to the mountains of ‘evidence’ when it falls over and buries them.
