Milley bombs desert to change subjects

Don Surber:
Having bombed in a congressional hearing last week, General Milley (pronounced Miley Cyrus) decided to throw some bombs in the Syrian desert to get everyone off his case. The general’s little Social Justice Warrior speech turned off many a veteran and many a Trump supporter.

Milley is supposed to defend the American flag first, last, and always. Let others protect the Rainbow flag and the BLM banner. The Pentagon announced, “At President Biden’s direction, U.S. military forces earlier this evening conducted defensive precision airstrikes against facilities used by Iran-backed militia groups in the Iraq-Syria border region. The targets were selected because these facilities are utilized by Iran-backed militias that are engaged in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacks against U.S. personnel and facilities in Iraq. Specifically, the U.S. strikes targeted operational and weapons storage facilities at two locations in Syria and one location in Iraq, both of which lie close to the border between those countries. Several Iran-backed militia groups, including Kata’ib Hezbollah (KH) and Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada (KSS), used these facilities.”

Biden acted on Milley’s advice.

  1. He was a brilliant commander under PDT, his brain has turned into a warm pile of horse droppings, just like his boss.

  2. Give this crap a long deserved rest for Heaven’s sake. We’re fucking bombing our way through history. WhyTF we’re still on the hook for Iraq is a mystery.

Just what interests are being protected besides the MIC’s insatiable need to keep churning out hardware and dealing death??

    Lord Almighty, it’s evil

  3. No doubt the time and place of the bombings were telegraphed by State Dept. to insure minimal damage to the targets and maximum tough-guy Joe effect in the media

  4. Milley’s a piece of crap and a political animal. He always has been. This is the NeoCons back in business.

  5. Smilley Jack Milley made a lot of big grains of sand into little grains of sand! Give him another bunch of stars!

  6. Extirpates, Milley certainly did not cover himself in glory when he ran sniveling away from President Trump in the Lafayette Square incident. And right now, the media is pumping out “Trump got in shouting match with Milley over Lafayette Square. Maybe you have other more flattering info on Milley pre-Lafayette Square, but he definitely showed his true colors when Trump was his CIC.

  7. WAR!

    What is it good for?

    Absolutely nothing!

Except killing off a generation of undesirables the socialists deem unnecessary!

  8. @Reloader 83: “WAR!What is it good for?”

sometimes it is necessary for survival
and, sometimes it is used to make money- used by those not intimately involved.

I thought this was supposed to be ‘the dawning of the age of Aquarius’
    silly me

  9. I will never understand the need for many of the right to bring Israel into the conversation when it doesn’t need to be.

Its almost as if they are brainswashed into worshiping America’s greatest threat.

  10. Brad, that was a good read. My first though was this is the Obama Way. And sure enough, one of the commenters there likened the charmed career of Milley to the trajectory of Obama: Hidden hands facilitating improbable opportunities and unearned privileges from youth to middle age. Loyal, dependable operatives are not created in a matter of weeks. It takes decades, and only the deep state has that kind of time.

That Big Country dude brings up some good points. He’s a good follow if you can get past his private life stuff. Terrance Popp shares his views on Milley too.
