Missing Florida Man May Have Tried to Jet Ski to The Bahamas

A man who may have been attempting to ride a Jet Ski from Pompano Beach to the Bahamas is missing, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.

Authorities are trying to find the 52-year-old man, Charles Walker, who was last seen about 5 p.m. Friday in Pompano Beach in the 3200 block of Northeast 16th Street, a community near the beach just north of the 14th Street bridge. More

    That’s with flat seas and a straight line. With 20 foot swells it would be closer to 380 miles.

  8. I have one of these,they are real nice when it is 80 degrees out and sunny.I also have a kayak (two actually,one a kevlar pricey number).
    I could step out the door of the cottage and end up in the Atlantic Ocean several months later.
    Have i thought about doing this,yes,would i do it no.
    This guy may have been on a personal mission,all the best to to you Sir.

  9. He’s been swallowed up by the Bermuda Triangle. One day in the future he’ll come out of a landed Alien Flying Saucer type of mother ship, with a big smile on his face, claiming he had a great time on the aliens’ planet, where “They give you money for nothing and the chicks are free”.
