More than 2 dozen senators call for federal government to investigate Planned Parenthood

Agroup of senators is calling upon the Department of Justice and the U.S. Treasury to investigate abortion provider Planned Parenthood over its alleged misuse of coronavirus stimulus funds, with the politicians also requesting updates on the government’s investigations into Planned Parenthood’s purported sale of fetal tissue in violation of federal law. 

Georgia Sen. Kelly Loeffler spearheaded the calls for the federal investigations, posting two letters on her senatorial website both of which were signed by Loeffler and more than two dozen of her colleagues. 

One letter addressed to Brian Miller, the Treasury’s recently appointed Special Inspector General for Pandemic Recovery, requested that the inspector “review the loans made to at least 43 Planned Parenthood affiliates” allegedly in error.  read more

  1. I hate to repeat myself (just ask my students), but so what? I respect them holding hearings, but what do they really think will happen, regardless of what is said?

  2. Remove all FedGov funding. FedGov funding amounts to a small percentage (I heard 10%?) of their total budget. If removing FedGov funding is such a hardship, then reduce upper managements’ pay and bonuses. There! PP budget is now balanced.

  3. Videos of planned parenthood selling baby body parts gets a little verbal condemnation and disappears to not be spoken of again. Planned parenthood misspends money that the congress critters could have misspent themselves and they want heads on a platter.🤔
