  5. Can someone explain to me why Boasberg gets to select the person for this role if Martin is not confirmed??? How in the world does some random judge – who just happens to be the judge most aggressively opposed to the president’s actions – get sole authority to do this??? Make it make sense.
    From this article, if Tillis votes no in committee it just means that the committee can’t recommend Martin. They can still have a vote. And as long as the rest of GOP votes in favor then he is in.

    pull Martin in last hour of last day…..
    nominate someone else…..
