New Jersey Re-Opens Gun Stores After Trump Administration Declares Them “Essential”

Dan Bongino: In the wake of the effort to stop the Chinese coronavirus, many states have decided to shut down businesses deemed “non-essential.” However, as we noted last week, many states and localities included gun stores in that category, even while letting criminals out of prison.

  1. I still don’t know why anyone would wait for a “crisis” to purchase a firearm or ammunition…….. just doesn’t make sense!

  2. When these guns are used to kill the felons the dems let out of jail, the left will use that as more evidence to take guns away.
There is a bill dems are working on that mandates all gun owners get a license to own a gun. And that is just the beginning.

In NJ it’s extremely restrictive compared to most states, but you can buy a pistol with 10 or fewer capacity mag, after getting a purchaser card, meaning full background check and fee. I believe they also limit how many pistols you can buy in a year. Carry permits are extremely hard to get, and NJ offers zero reciprocity.

Download the free CCW app. It’s a must for any anyone doing/considering concealed carry. You’ll have all the laws for all the states, and much more.

  4. Expect state police to return ALL trucks – at the borders – bringing guns & ammo to the stores, however. 🙄
