NY: Witchipoo Signs Bill Allowing Credit Cards to Track Ammo Purchases

Breitbart: New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) signed new controls into law last week, including one that allows credit cards to track ammunition purchases.

She described the ammunition control as one that “[refines] how credit card companies track purchases at gun dealerships.”

Hochul noted, “This gives law enforcement the opportunity to find out exactly who may be stockpiling ammunition. And this is an indicator that something untoward could be happening, so it’s an important data point for us to have.”

North Country Now pointed out the credit card tracking will occur via the use of a new merchant code, and that code will allow the tracking of not only ammo purchases but firearms as well. more

  1. “And this is an indicator that something untoward could be happening…”

…like a Government getting so tyrannical that We The People need to put it in its place?

  2. I use cash. I have been stocking up on ammo for a decade and a half. Pew-pews too. Odd, I haven’t taken anything over in all that time or committed any crimes. Then again, I don’t live in razorface’s state, I live where owning guns and ammo are encouraged.

  3. I hear Wells Fargo was very involved in the ActBlue stuff. So who knows if they’ll snitch on your debit card, too. Whether you use it as debit or credit, gift card, they can still ‘see’ it and even deny the use of a gift card.

It’s not gonna stop until they sue the state and the CC companies for harassment and prejudice.

  4. I don’t think anything frightens me anymore, but when I see Hochul’s face it reminds me of how scared I was the first time I saw Dracula, about when I was 8 or 9 years old.
