Regated: Obama plans to hand off control of the Internet to “foreign authorities” on October 1st.

Lawrence E. Strickling, an NTIA (National Telecommunications & Information) administrator wrote that without any “significant impediment”, the transition will occur October 1.

Let’s look at this rationally and clear-headed. This transition relates to DNS servers which are essentially the Internet’s directory of IP addresses to call upon. The handling of the directory of IP addresses is no longer going to happen under American authority and instead be handled by “foreign authorities”? Who exactly are these “foreign authorities” – and why does no one know? Boy, this sounds like a good idea!  MORE

  2. I just can’t see how this ends well. Expect for the part where speech will be restricted and Obama and his party will just shrug their shoulders and say ‘its not coming from us’.

    Naturally, that son of a communist bitch, 0bama, wants to take away the voice of the citizens (the internet being the largest forum) and hand the control over to people who hate the American way of life and the very idea of freedom in general.

    No more bashing his “prophet”. No more gun or ammo sales. No more conservative viewpoints. No Christian talk. All these things will become “hate” crimes when Barry’s cousins have the helm.

    We could make a history correction by tarring and feathering Barry and Hillary on the hangman’s platform. They are the traitors the Founding Fathers warned us about.
