Local news, particularly with meteorologists, seem to take great pride in being as goofy as possible. This kind of thing sets the tone that the news wants to be entertainment in order to attract viewers. But where does it end? What else would the news do to attract viewers? Bend the truth?
So while this is fun to watch, there is some noise in the background that suggests this isn’t right; it’s never been right.
The original funny guy weatherman (for me at least) was Sonny Elliot in Detroit.
