Perhaps the final nail in ESPN’s coffin – Olbermann to return to the network

DW-

On Friday, ESPN announced that it had signed a new contract with Keith Olbermann that will give the far-Left former MSNBC, Current TV, and GQ host an expanded role with the flailing network. According to USA Today, Olbermann will now anchor Sportscenter some 20 times per year. Olbermann, who has now finally reached the pinnacle of his career – right back where he started, with the same role – put on a happy face: “Since we started this, my sixth separate tenure with ESPN, in January, I’ve found the variety of assignments to be the most fun and energizing of all my stints. Adding stuff, like being a rookie 59-year-old play-by-play guy, plus the Rip Van Winkle of Sportscenter, only adds to the smorgasbord. Can’t wait, and at my age, I shouldn’t.”

  1. Seething with raw hatred and dripping with contempt for anyone lacking the extreme leftist bent, the channel figures he’s just the lifeboat their sinking ship needs right now. It’s a stroke of pure genius.

  2. In fact it is both fitting + proper. 40 years ago Keith was Howard Cosell’s acolyte “Sports caster” on KFWB. The former #1 R+R radio station (980 on your dial)in Cal that went to all “News” before Howard’s lackey became their “sports” guy. Were Howard alive he’d fit in well at ESPN.

    BTW. KFWB became an Indian station, as in Gandhi, about 5 years ago.

  4. Like I’m gonna tune in to see the world’s worst person tell me who the world’s worst person is.
    Nope!
    BTW – Love the Anus Mouth picture! Anderson Cooper must be quivering in anticipation over that!

  5. Another gem from your photoshop craftsmanship! It is a photoshop creation isn’t it? {sarc}

  6. When the hole you have dug for yourself is not deep enough already, bring in Olbermann. That will ensure you’ll never see daylight again.

  7. WTF is ESPN thinking? They take a failed program that reeks of fecal material and throw even more crap into it. They must have hired Olbermann for minimum wage in a last ditch effort to how some relevancy.
    What a great business plan. Who’s running this show anyway, Hillary’s campaign team? Waters, Pelosi, Moonbeam? Who cares, ESPN can go ahead and die, the sooner the better.

  8. Hey The Rat Fink.

    It just ain’t Anderson Pooper’s mouth that’s quivering in anticipation!

  10. Ann Coulter put that ass-wipe through the shredder years ago.

    He doesn’t know enough to stay out of sight. He’s going to catch hell again.

  11. This clown used to piss himself in in MSNBC anchor chair. Those poor janitors at the ESPN studios. Their job just got a whole lot worse.

  12. I can’t even stand that clown Dick Vitale who sometimes does the NCAA basketball announcing when he does his idiotic refers to freshman players as “diaper” somethings. Just can’t stand his voice and it is idiotic to refer to an 18 year old player who is around 7’ tall as being in diapers.
    Sometimes to follow your home team on television you have to watch ESPN coverage.
