From what I read the court case was more about judicial activism than about the question of whether 14th Amendment permits vacation babies. However it was most definitely in Trump’s favor. So while it may not have affirmed that you can’t have a baby here and have it automatically be a citizen it certainly opened that door. And Trump is now taking the next step toward making it a reality.
The 14th Amendment needs to be amended. Is that possible? There has to be a clearer definition of US citizenship. Anchor babies should have never been allowed. The Founders and their families must have been naturalized by virtue of being the first citizens of a new nation – a legal process of immigration. Not foreigners visiting or with visas and illegals running the borders. Their children should have always been considered foreign, alien residents only.
