Rep. Brat To Dems: ‘Name The Statute That’s Been Violated’ [VIDEO]

DC: During a Friday interview, Virginia Rep. Dave Brat slammed Democrats who want to impeach Trump without any evidence of criminal wrongdoing.

“What you gotta do is just name the statute that’s been violated,” Brat explained of Democrats going after Trump. “Democrats are upset that Trump won the election and so they’ve been saying ‘impeach, impeach’ since day one.”

Brat took shots at fellow Virginia Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine, who have respectively called potential Russia collusion “disturbing” and close to “treason.”

“My Senators from Virginia are getting apoplectic,” Brat argued. “Mark Warner’s seeing smoke everywhere he goes like he’s in a Cheech and Chong movie and [Tim] Kaine now thinks the son is worse than Benedict Arnold.”  more here

  1. Name the statute? Wouldn’t that push the libs dangerously close to talking about facts??

By all means PUSH, push them to the point of reality.

  2. The totalitarians don’t need an excuse to impeach.
    None is required.
The Mensheviks should allow it to proceed with the understanding that those vying to impeach Pres. Trump must resign their seats (or that their lives are forfeit) if the motion doesn’t pass.

Then let it come to a vote.

  3. What statute has been violated? That’s easy – The Russia statute. Talk to a Russian? Illegal. Send emails to a Russian? Illegal. Order a black russian? Illegal. Order a white russian? illegal and racist. Live on Russian Hill? Illegal, you traitor. Know where Russia is? Illegal and white privilege. Rushin’ around getting things done? Go to jail.

  4. Sun Tsu had something to say about this.

“If your enemy is of choleric temper, irritate him.”

And then irritate him some more. Sooner or later they’ll make a big mistake.

“A wise commander wins before he goes to war.”
