Reported- Bloomberg campaign asked Yang to be his running mate

WaEx- Michael Bloomberg’s campaign reportedly asked Andrew Yang to consider being the former New York City mayor’s running mate if he secures the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.

Two sources familiar with the discussions told the Wall Street Journal on Thursday that Bloomberg had aides reach out to Yang about possibly being his vice presidential pick. A third source said that Yang did not make any commitments as he weighs his future in politics. more here

  2. Americans scream that there would be no downsides if the US defaulted on the debt, but wouldn’t China and Japan be angry about not getting their money back?

    Will businesses and Americans who bought US bonds be upset about being ripped off? Wouldn’t companies who get fleeced need to lay off workers and shut down?

    You are (I hope deliberately) conflating “Americans” with “The United States”. If my crack-head, baby-mama, neighbor, buys a new Excalade. And signs my name to the loan. But puts her name on the title. When the dealer she “loaned” it to crashes it into a tree (like they always do, with somebody else’s Excalade). The banksters that rigged the “bet” (so they’d always “win” — like they always do). Very well might “insist” I pay them. That’s what atomics are for.
