The Republican establishment was playing their designated part as controlled opposition and going on the Sunday shows feigning outrage followed up by the obligatory strongly worded letter and fundraising like a motherfucker possessed off of it. Neither have any conscience, but the Democrats were at least not out there trying to make like they were the salvation from this shit.

…just one other thing here. While I like some of the concepts Ive seen about being “broken on the wheel” like how someone’s wrists and ankles can have the bones within pulverized without breaking the skin to the point where the resultant flesh tubes can themselves be tied to the wheel making even rope unnecessary, there ARE blood vessels in there that it seems like could be internally rupured, hastening death which is absolutely NOT the point.
Also, if you go higher up on the body and break the femur, because of the marrow even WITHOUT compromising blood vessels this can result in blood loss up to 2 litres per femur, and best case you only have 6, so if they start breaking above the knee this, too, will hasten death. Also you do not exclude the chest and a rib driven into a lung will end the party pretty quick too, unless you pad the poles so they can bruise and not break.
…so not too many people can safely break not too much of the guy above the knees and elbows to leave him maximum time to contemplate the error of his ways, so maybe ONE shot per customer is best, just sayin’…
