San Francisco Opens Officially-sanctioned Homeless Camp Outside City Hall

Breitbart: The City of San Francisco opened its first officially-sanctioned homeless camp this week, located outside City Hall.

The camp, called “Safe Sleeping Village,” includes 80 tents, set up inside rectangles marked in white paint on asphalt, and “provides meals, showers, clean water and trash pickup” to camp residents, according to the Associated Press.

SFGate.com reports that the camp opened May 13 for “individuals who were already established in the City Hall area”

In addition, “Occupants must sign a community guidelines agreement and are expected to meet certain expectations around conduct. Only occupants can enter the site through entrances that are monitored by officials 24 hours a day.” read more

If they can be kept out, they can be kept in as well.

Maybe that would be a good idea.

  5. And when the city needs the parking lot back from the homeless for CARS, they will have them a good ol’ fashion Paris style riot on their hands….

  6. Hmmm.

This sounds like warehousing to me. Isn’t that what the libs were against when they opened all the mental hospitals and let people “be free”?

A 24 hour a day monitor for who enters, and tents cost way less than buildings and beds and doctors and nurses and programs – you know, all the things to actually help the mentally ill.

It took years and years, but we are back at the beginning, but with less actual caring.

  7. Perfect spot. The left should have their policy created cesspools in their own back yards and places of work.

  8. A great tragedy. SF used to be so much fun to visit.

LA is right behind in being a leftist shithole, thanks to the corrupt psycho Eric Garcetti, who is mayor, and has overseen the trashing of LA. The trashing is permenant. The importanted ARMY of street psychos, junkies and criminals aren’t going anywhere. They are now a permanent fixture on sidewalks all over the city.

Garcetti is also corrupt as shit:

There was a ‘probe’ that kept garcetti out of the 2020 presidential race. But neither Sleazy Sessions or Barr-Boehener allowed it to go anywyhere.

  9. The article didn’t mention porta-poopers. Doesn’t matter anyway. These drugged-out zombies will squat and poop anytime they feel the need. They’d poop in St. Peter’s Cathedral without a care.

So without even a word edgewise, the homeless in San Francisco have suddenly found themselves as members of an HOA! I see it going as well for them as all the other horror stories you read on the internet.

  11. Great! Meanwhile Texas today you would hardly know has a pandemic. So disappointed media to now not report eager bar goes last Friday at midnight. I’m sure they are hoping we all surge in spikes and die but it is hot and people are being reasonable. Love feeling like we are back! There is also a psychological factor that took a few weeks to go back. But also no more standing in lines listening to washing and hands stand six feet apart BS could just walk into Walmart and HEB. I love it!
