Sardis | The 7 Churches of Revelation
It’s been almost 2,000 years since the apostle John was instructed by Jesus to write letters to the seven churches mentioned in the book of Revelation. These timeless letters reveal a message of God’s love through the death and resurrection of His Son Jesus, identify and provide correction for problems in the church, and offer hope and encouragement for the future.
OT, Micheal Madison’s death was announced today. My favorite “current” actor. His role in Reservoir Dogs was incredible. I’ve never watched the guy in a bad roll. Don’t know his politics and he never declared them. The way it should be. What’s really bothering me is he was two years younger than me. That ain’t good.

Thanks for posting these MJA. I’ve enjoyed and learned from all of them, but this one on Sardis seems to me to be the most pertinent one so far for our time. The increasingly popular ecumenical approach of so many Christian “leaders” and churches to build bridges with other religions and the carnal world has severely diluted Christ’s message that He (and only He) is the only way, the only truth and the only life” such that no one comes to the Father but through Christ Himself. So in this sense, Christianity is a very exclusive religion because Christ is the only way to eternal life with God – there is no other way. It seems our modern church leaders have forgotten or abandoned this most profound doctrine.
