Senator Hawley Confronts Deputy AG Lisa Monaco About DOJ/ FBI Attempt to Target American Parents Attending School Board Meetings

CTH: In order for radical leftists to continue to advance their ideological attacks, they have to pretend not to know things.  Barack Obama took that long-standing truism to new levels of exploitation during his administration, reference: ‘Fast ‘n Furious, IRS targeting, Obamacare, Benghazi etc.  The list is long.

Yesterday, the U.S. Department of Justice issued a memorandum to the FBI instructing them to initiate investigations of any parent attending a local school board meeting who might be viewed as confrontational, intimidating or harassment.  The intent of the targeting memo is clear, the political activists within the DOJ are telling the political activists within the FBI to target ordinary parents as ‘Domestic Terrorists‘ or ‘Extremists‘, and open the door for federal action against their local civic activity.

Lisa Monaco was Barack Obama’s former homeland security advisor and former legal counsel in the White House.  Monaco was the tip of the spear in using political activism under the guise of ‘homeland security’ to target political opposition.  That type of political targeting is her specialty.  Lisa Monaco is now the Deputy Attorney General of the United States.

As a direct result of her skill-set in combination with her current position, it is almost a guarantee that Deputy AG Lisa Monaco authored the DOJ targeting memorandum that AG Merrick Garland signed and sent to the FBI.  Again, weaponizing internal political targeting under the guise of homeland security concerns is what Monaco is specifically famous for doing.  Today, Missouri Senator Josh Hawley confronted DAG Monaco about the targeting memo.  WATCH her response:

  1. I hope the FBI isn’t spreading itself too thin. Those garage pulls aren’t going to investigate themselves.

  5. Who’s harrassing who? A few angry parents confront the school board members, who represent the state apparatus that parents mostly interact with.

The school board has all the power of local and state governments, and now all the way up the agencies of the Federal Gov’t. A few mothers show up to confront them about the direction of their kids’ education which now includes the teaching of perversion and the SBs’ go crying to the gov’t war dogs for protection. The pervs and drug addled liberals from the sixties on are seeing their disturbed plans and dreams fulfilled.

Yeah, it’s getting sicker by the day.

  6. It all depends on what the definition oh “crime” is.

Watch the Fully Bogus Institution set up some false flag operations to make it look like something bad is going on.

Disband the FBI. It is no better than the STATSI.

  7. It’s almost too late to get violent…
Oops! My brother warned me not to post at night.

  8. I watched video clips of several Senators questioning this woman and Hawley comes the closest to the crux of the issue but nobody brought up the obvious; there are already laws on the books for addressing violence in any iteration. Ditto with making threats on a public official, so why write a memo over something already codified? Could it be that their clandestine effort to remove the parents from all aspects of education and to indoctrinate students with that vile CRT crap is getting too much exposure, too much publicity? A heavy hand is required letting the public know that dissension will not be tolerated.

And Brad, to your point, it is the same for police departments. Qualities that were sought after in the past, a calm demeanor, good judgment, the ability to think outside the box, these are now viewed as detrimental and an impediment. A subservience to security over freedom, following orders, a radical shift in threat assessment, and fostering a “us against them” mentality, these are what makes a pliant dept. that will keep those domestic terrorists in check.

  9. First, they make the schools into indoctrination prisons for the kids. Then they threaten to throw the parents in prison for complaining. Check your rear view mirror, Australia, America is gaining on you.

The note tied to the rock tossed over my garden wall suggests that Bill Ayers is the Godfather of this policy.

  10. First of all, let me say that Josh Hawley has a GREAT voice!

Wanna bet the Ed Sec is in on this?
Commies can’t have the parents showing any desire to be in charge of their own children.
    Right out of their Manifesto.

  11. “And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

  12. 100% of the time I’ve had a moment to ask a school employee- what’s wrong with the public schools? I’ve gotten the same answer for almost 30 years- parents. Try it.
    Gaslighting?
When I’ve had the opportunity to continue and ask, whose parents, yours? 100% of the time the person runs away.

Wasn’t it Reagan who said it’s not that our liberal friends are ignorant, it’s that they know so much that isn’t so.

  13. Hell hath no fury like liberals in power after four years of President Donald J Trump making America great again and mocking them to be their faces. Their scorched earth rage against his supporters will never end. TDS is worse than covid. I believe they need to be vaccinated.

  14. Mr. Hawley seems to be a solid conservative, but we’ve seen this before and have been disappointed.

One thing he could have nailed her on was her claim of open communication and sharing information between local LE and the FBI that JD ruling brings. Is there not already lines of communications and information sharing. The FBI gets itself involved already into local affairs. When there is a noose hanging from a door at a “state” or a private university, the FBI shows up. They step outside their bailiwick (of federal crimes) all the time, and this Monaco moron thinks we need more FBI involvement in School Board meetings.

We need more government involvement in our lives like we need a hole in the head.
