As a former helo pilot I can tell you the pilot here was a hero, and a very skilled one at that.

On another note, there’s currently not enough wind down there to blow a fart out of your underwear. All these new fires, and there’s a lot of them, have to be set. Arson.

I doubt if they are. There’s a couple very large reservoirs there. I imagine that’s where they’re filling anything airborne up
Go to Earth.google.com, zoom in on Pacific Palisades and locate the Santa Ynez reservoir. Zoom in nice and close. Go to the tool bar and select the time slider. Start stepping back in time….
The Santa Ynez reservoir has been empty since 2009.

FOX news just reported that they’ve abandoned the no Ocean Water rule and are indeed using Ocean water. I’m sure the Sierra Club is already drafting several law suits.
