The FBI documents that put Barack Obama in the ‘Obamagate’ narrative

Just the News: Agents fretted sharing Flynn intel with departing Obama White House would become fodder for ‘partisan axes to grind.’

Just 17 days before President Trump took office in January 2017, then-FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok texted bureau lawyer Lisa Page, his mistress, to express concern about sharing sensitive Russia probe evidence with the departing Obama White House.

Strzok had just engaged in a conversation with his boss, then-FBI Assistant Director William Priestap, about evidence from the investigation of incoming National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, codenamed Crossfire Razor, or “CR” for short.

The evidence in question were so-called “tech cuts” from intercepted conversations between Flynn and Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak, according to the texts and interviews with officials familiar with the conversations.

Strzok related Priestap’s concerns about the potential the evidence would be politically weaponized if outgoing Director of National Intelligence James Clapper shared the intercept cuts with the White House and President Obama, a well-known Flynn critic. more here

  1. America really needs to heal from all of the Obama era criminal decisions and blame he dumped on us. For that to happen we deserve justice in this. One way or the other there must be a definitive judicial response resulting from a formal process. If not, then the division he seeded will continue to grow.

  2. I realize that evidence is required to try and then execute traitors.

But, gee wiz, it seems agonizingly slow for those of us who knew from the start.
Some things should be handled with dispatch.

  4. All of this stuff is going to make absolutely no difference in our nation, we will keep marching mindlessly into our fall and destruction the same way we have been for decades now, further and further into the abyss of decay and destruction of the people at an ever increasing speed that doesn’t even slow over any extended period of time.

It may feel good to get some retribution against a few of the players, but it is of no consequence in the direction we are going or the speed we are doing it at. It’s just a distraction that keeps people in line and doing nothing to actually change anything.

  5. Anonymous, Too many people want everything completed now. The administration wants it done perfectly so convictions are secured. You’re doom and gloom is Liberal talk.
We are Americans, and if we want the job done it will get done.
Remember the wall that would never be built?
The Trump Administration and others have planned Making America Great Again for a long time. It’s a huge job and it has to be done in increments. It only took us 50-60 years to get here. Three to four years is a drop in the bucket to correct it. Think monumental job, bigger than your mind can go.
