With breakthrough cases of the Delta variant of COVID infecting a growing number of vaccinated individuals, including no less than five Texas Democrats who fled their state to stop an election integrity bill, the fear is getting cranked back up to max. Democrats and the media are drooling at the possibility of gaining yet more control over people’s lives with a pandemic serving as the excuse.
Within that framing, there are renewed talks of lockdowns and mask mandates despite the fact that deaths and hospitalizations are not following the increase in cases. In fact, the data out of the United Kingdom shows just how irrelevant case counts are these days, though, the obsession with them continues for obvious, political reasons.
What this means is that there is zero reason to panic and run back to ineffective, destructive mitigation measures. With well over 65% of the United States over-12 population vaccinated and a hefty percentage of those who haven’t been enjoying natural immunity due to prior infection, we are simply not in the same place we were last summer as far as vulnerability goes. First off, this term “breakthrough case” is just Orwellian scamdemic-speak. The work “breakthrough” has positive connotations to most people, yet the Public Health wizards have perverted it to obscure what is really happening.
“Breakthrough cases” are defined as somebody who has complete vaccination plus two weeks and then gets covid. Shouldn’t we be calling these “Vaccine Failure cases”? Of course, the Pandemic Panjandrums will say that the Vaccine was never intended to vaccinate, only to make the boo-boo not as bad, so it hasn’t ackshually “failed”, per se. So “breakthrough” happy-talk it is.
Along those lines, I can’t figure out why they switched from “mutation” to “variant”, especially when they’re trying to scare us with them I guess it’s because “mutations”are well-known for becoming weaker, but these “variants”…well we just don’t know what they might do.
I wish in March of 2020 the US had been the hold out to not buy into the globalist world wide 15 days to stop the spread. This just needs to end and people need to be empowered to make their own choices they can live with.
BTW, homosexuals are a variant strain of humanity, just not a genetic one.
Mentioning this as a reminder of twenty or so years ago, when they were desperately hyping the “gay gene” (which doesn’t exist), other people said “Oh, so such a gene means that queers are mutants? Aberrations?
