You know this isn’t about the kids. The Dems are stressed out that dropping a child in the U.S. doesn’t create another excuse to prevent prevent deportation.
Now we need not only to prevent the inanity of “birthright citizenship” but it needs to be made retroactive for (suggestion) all persons who are under the age of 18 and do not already reside in the U.S.
When in CA, a co-worker informed me that her babydaddy (unmarried) and his fam and friends were illegal. During tax season, one couple would take turns to claim the others’ kids on their taxes. I don’t know how they did it, she felt nervous because she knew it wasn’t right, but every year they all got paid somehow. She was let go before the company closed so I don’t know if they ever got audited. (LOL)
Good preventative care. In five years, those kids would be poster children for the next “These Poor Dreamers don’t even remember the place they came from” leftist media bullshit. Now, in five years, they won’t even remember the place their parents were deported from.
Sure, they’re US citizens because of the self-serving leftist interpretation of Birthright Citizenship, bit hopefully that will also be changing. Although our esteemed Federal Rent-a-Robes will probably sell us out, as usual.
So the family wasn’t separated, good for that.
They’re all back where they belong.
Mom and the kids are back with their extended family in their home country.
